According to Comicbook.com (via Thenumbers.com), there were already 5,377,765 The Hunger Games DVD units sold, which makes for $93,211,176 in sales revenue.

At 5,377,765 DVD unit sold, The Hunger Games passed by The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1, which sits in the #2 spot with 5,223,078 DVD units sold. The Hunger Games DVD was released on August 18, 2012, while The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 DVD was released on February 11, 2012.
